Good People Watching: Last night on the T (riding back from my last Fund Raising class!) I saw a couple and their 5-ish year old daughter sitting next to me. The girl was sitting in a stroller and watching the world go by. I had noticed the family because they looked like they came straight out of the 70's, with long hair in braids (mom AND dad), a tie dyed shirt, and that general VERY crunchy look. At some point the little girl said something to her mom and her mom pulled the girl onto her lap, lifted up her shirt and began breast feeding her. I thought it was an interesting phenomenon, but you should have seen the faces of some of the other people on the T. Shock! The mom was very discrete, but there was no missing what was happening.
