Congrat: I am getting a sister-in-law! Kevin and Marissa got engaged on June 8th. Very romantic. I am so happy for them. Here is a picture of them all blissed out soon after Kev popped the question.

Duh!: It's great to live in the only state in the nation that understands the importance and imparative that a civilized nation allow all people to marry. (Well, not great that we are the only state-- great that I live in this state.) I am so pleased that the Mass legislature voted to continue to allow same sex couples to marry. In this article they state, "One letter came from an 82-year-old woman who worried that one of her young grandchildren might grow up to be gay and might not be able to marry the person he loved." and "People's ability to be happy is fundamental," he said. "To pass judgment on that, in the end, I found hard to do."

Jeff and I went camping with Em and Nat this weekend. We had a fabulous time!

This is just too weird: The Vatican has come out with the 10 Commandments of Driving. They include:
1. You shall not kill.
3. Courtesy, uprightness and prudence will help you deal with unforeseen events.
4. Be charitable and help your neighbor in need, especially victims of accidents.
5. Cars shall not be for you an expression of power and domination, and an occasion of sin.
6. Charitably convince the young and not so young not to drive when they are not in a fitting condition to do so.
7. Support the families of accident victims.
8. Bring guilty motorists and their victims together, at the appropriate time, so that they can undergo the liberating experience of forgiveness.
